Hello, I am Alexandra Ratzlaff, an archaeologist and lecturer at Brandeis University. My primary area of focus is on the Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology of the Eastern Mediterranean, with special interests in coastal and maritime archaeology, ancient economies, and ceramics. My other current research concentrates on digital applications in archaeology and teaching in the humanities. I am an active field archaeologist with projects spanning the Bronze Age to Byzantine Period.
